The three Cuban taekwondo athletes are ready today to make their debut tomorrow at the 2nd Junior Pan American Games in Asuncion, after completing training sessions that sharpened their reflexes and aspirations.

Cuban archers Elaimis García and Abraham Pérez won the bronze medal in the mixed recurve team event of the II Junior Pan American Games, under way in Asunción, Paraguay, after beating their Bermudan counterparts 6-2.

Cuban athletics returned to the European podium with Silinda Morales' victory on Sunday and Mario Alberto Diaz's bronze medal at the discus throw at the Sollentuna Folksam Grand Prix, a Bronze category event on the World Athletics Continental Tour.

Cubans Elaimis Garcia Ramos and Abraham Perez Gonzalez will compete for the bronze medal in the mixed recurve team competition this Tuesday, after losing in the 5x4 semifinals to Colombia, on the first day of archery competitions at the 2nd Junior Pan American Games Asuncion 2025.

Cuba’s coxed eight won the bronze medal and opened the island's medal count in the rowing tournament of the II Junior Pan American Games, under way in Asunción, Paraguay.
