Cuban U-19 national soccer team will face Panama Friday, in their debut match at the UNCAF FIFA Forward U-19 Tournament, which will be played from December 5-11 at Yappy Park and COS Sports Plaza stadiums in Panama City.

Activists from several continents launched the "Let Them Play" campaign to demand that the United States government grant visas to Cuban athletes, following the denial of approximately one hundred permits so far in 2025, which is hindering their participation in qualifying events for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Zoran Gajic, Minister of Sport of the Republic of Serbia, upon his arrival in Cuba, praised the excellent historical relations between the two countries and expressed his gratitude for the invitation to participate at the 11th International Convention on Physical Education and Sport, AFIDE 2025.
