HAVANA, Cuba, November 12 (ACN) Cuba will make its debut against the Dominican Republic on the first day of the 2nd NORCECA Boys’ U17 Continental Championship, to be held on November 18-23 in Managua, Nicaragua.
Team Cuba―third at the first edition in Veracruz 2023―is in Group B alongside Barbados, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico, and will next play the United States and Mexico on November 19 and 20, respectively.
According to the organizers, the winners of each pool will go directly to the semifinals, whereas the teams that finish in second and third place will play in the quarterfinals.
The tournament will serve as a qualifier for the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U17 World Championship, to be held in Doha, Qatar.
