HAVANA, Cuba, April 22 (ACN) According to Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos, S.A., Cuba reaffirmed its openness to foreign investment in specific sectors of the healthcare system with projects focused on wellness and rehabilitation tourism.
The strategy, developed together with the Ministry of Tourism, looks at wellness centers in thermal-mineral-medicinal spas that make the most of existing top-quality natural resources to provide specialized and hospitality services.
Through lifestyle improvement activities such as exercise, healthy eating, relaxation, personal care, and physical and other therapies, the plan aims to attract foreign capital to expand the portfolio of opportunities in health and wellness tourism with facilities designed for holistic experiences in harmony with nature.
The entity stressed that the country's political, social, and legal stability, along with the medical and scientific preparedness of the national health system, stand as guarantees for investors.
Likewise, the project intends to turn international health centers into ideal spaces for holistic wellness retreats in the natural environments of the Cuban archipelago with the support of expert guidance.
