HAVANA, Cuba, November 11 (ACN) Anselem Nhamo Sanyatwe, Minister of Sports, Recreation, Arts and Culture of the Republic of Zimbabwe, began a visit to Cuba on Monday to attend the 11th International Convention on Physical Education and Sport, Afide 2025, which will take place from November 11 to 14 at the Convention Palace in Havana.
The Director General of High Performance at the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER by its Spanish acronym), Jose Antonio Miranda, received the leader of the African nation and his delegation, which includes Chief of Staff Shara Taderera, Sports Administrator Nhamoinesu Garikai, and Security Assistant Alfred Chinaka.
In statements to the press, the minister said that sending this delegation to Cuba stems from the historical ties that began during Zimbabwe's liberation struggle and that continue to support each other with a high level of cooperation in many areas, which remain strong.
