Cuba reiterated today its support and commitment to the fulfillment of the Montevideo Consensus and the Cairo Programme of Action during the High-Level Panel on the socio-demographic impact of the pandemic and the main challenges and progress in the implementation of this instrument on Population and Development.

Rodriguez Parrilla stressed on Twitter that the meetings confirmed the mutual interest in deepening parliamentary ties, and ratified the friendship and solidarity bonds that unite both countries.

Top representatives of the botanical gardens of Cuba and Thailand signed a Memorandum of Understanding in that Southeast Asian country, in what constitutes a strengthening of mutual cooperation.
