The 8th Caricom-Cuba Summit adopted the Declaration of Bridgtown on Tuesday expressing the joint willingness of Caribbean nations to further strengthen their relationship and the commitment to search for creative solutions in the benefit of their peoples, said Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.

Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister, sent condolences to the people and government of Colombia for the fatalities caused by the landslide that occurred in the municipality of Pueblo Rico, Risaralda department.

Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP), and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, foreign minister of Türkiye reaffirmed today the will to strengthen bilateral relations in different fields.

The historic friendly relations between the peoples of Cuba and St. Vincent and the Grenadines were ratified today at the Special Session of the Vincentian parliament in honor of Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Cuban communist party's central committee and president of the country.

Cuban Political Bureau member Esteban Lazo Hernandez, president of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) and of the Council of State, and the heads of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Belarusian Parliament, Vladimir Andreichenko and Natalia Kachanova, respectively, signed in Minsk an inter-parliamentary cooperation agreement with his Belarusian counterparts intended to expand and strengthen ties between the two legislative bodies. 

Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party Central Committee and Cuban President is on a Caribbean tour including official visits to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and Barbados.

The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) confirmed its support to Cuba in the rehabilitation of local food production in the affected areas after the passage of hurricane Ian last September through the western part of the country.
