Health Minister: “Changing the epidemiological scenario in western Cuba calls for joint efforts and widespread awareness”
Following a visit to Pinar del Rio, the province with the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the country, Public Health Minister Jose Angel Portal Miranda said that changing the epidemiological situation requires everybody’s engagement and awareness.
In the last 15 days, over 15,600 people have tested positive in this province, for an incidence rate of more than 2,600 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the highest in Cuba today.
