The France Cuba association demanded the lifting of the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade of the Island and described it as a genocidal policy intended to topple the Revolution.

The Belgian government donated 29 buses to Havana which will be used to reinforce public transportation in the Cuban capital and to support cultural institutions.

Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel expressed today that the outstanding scientist Maria Guadalupe Guzman Tirado is a pride for Cuba and its science, on the occasion of the L'Oréal-Unesco International Prize, Women and Science (2022), which was awarded to her on Thursday in Paris.

Cuban foreign minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, exchanged today at the Parliament of Equatorial Guinea with the first vice president of the Senate, Angel Serafin Seriche Dougan, and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Gaudencio Mohaba Mesu.
Rodriguez Parrilla stressed on Twitter that the meetings confirmed the mutual interest in deepening parliamentary ties, and ratified the friendship and solidarity bonds that unite both countries.

Top representatives of the botanical gardens of Cuba and Thailand signed a Memorandum of Understanding in that Southeast Asian country, in what constitutes a strengthening of mutual cooperation.

Cuba and Russia confirmed their willingness to continue deepening their ties for bilateral economic, commercial and scientific-technical cooperation during the meeting of the intergovernmental Commission headed by Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz and Russian Vice President Yuri Borisov.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla thanked today in Austria the solidarity with and support to the island in the struggle to put an end to the criminal U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade.

Today’s agenda of the delegation of the National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament) of Cuba to Brussels, Belgium, includes meetings with MEPs from the Green group of the European Parliament, according to the secretary of the Cuban legislative body, Homero Acosta, who described their exchanges as fruitful.

Representatives of Belgian and European solidarity groups, and Cubans residing in that country expressed in the capital Brussels their strong rejection of the over-60-year US economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba.
