 Venzuela’s Nicolas Maduro Recalls Legacy of Fidel CastroHavana, Nov 25 (ACN) Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro recalled the legacy of the historic leader of the Cuban revolution Fidel Castro on the sixth anniversary of his passing, November 25th.

President Xi Jinping described as "an exemplary case of solidarity and cooperation between socialist countries" the ties between China and Cuba, the first country in the Western Hemisphere, he recalled, to establish diplomatic relations with the new China.

The president of the Supreme People's Court of Cuba, Ruben Remigio Ferro, began today a working visit to Türkiye, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and exchange between the legal systems of both nations.

Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban communist party and president of the country, concluded today his official visit to China, the last stop of an international tour of countries in Asia, Africa and Europe.

Representatives of Cuba and China signed today 12 agreements on cooperation, shortly before concluding the official visit of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel to that Asian country.

 The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban communist party and president of the country, Miguel Diaz-Canel, and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping held official talks today at the Great Palace of the People.

Najat Mokhtar, Deputy Director General and head of the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Applications with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reiterated in Havana her agency’s collaboration commitment to Cuba.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez concluded today an official visit to Türkiye, where he talked with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoganal at a meeting in which both countries ratified their willingness to increase political, economic, trade, financial and cooperation relations and keep working together in fields of common interest, including biotechnology, renewable energy, tourism, agriculture, livestock production, health, education, sports and culture.

A year into its implementation, the project Health capacity strengthening for the COVID-19 crisis, funded by the government of Japan and executed by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) with the participation of Cuban authorities, is making progress, according to representatives of that international organization.

“We have plenty of reasons to be happy,” Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said after his official visit to the Russian Federation and Algeria as part of an ongoing international tour that he has described as a sign that Cuba is not alone and has much to offer and share with its allies.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel told reporters in turkiye that official talks with President Erdogan were fruitful and encouraging as they ratified their countries’ willingness to keep strengthening bilateral political relations.
