Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez began today his work program on the first of his two-day official visit to Türkiye as part of an international tour of countries in Africa, Europe and Asia that started in Algeria, followed by Russia, and will finish in China.

President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and foreign minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla offered their condolences today to the Chinese people and government for the fire in the province of Henan that left 38 dead and two injured.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel arrived Wednesday in Türkiye for an official visit, as part of an international tour which has taken him to Algeria and Russia and will conclude in China.

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel spoke at Russia’s State Duma (lower chamber of parliament) and extended the lawmakers his gratitude for their permanent support of his country. 

The presidents of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, and Russia, Vladimir Putin, held official talks in the Kremlin today where they discussed the prospects for deepening economic, trade, financial and cooperation ties.

Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban communist party and president of the country, ratified today the Cuban government's will to continue developing friendship, solidarity and respectful relations with the Russian Orthodox Church, in a meeting with His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, paid tribute to Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, at the monument dedicated to his memory unveiled today in Moscow.

Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban communist party and president of the country, took part today at the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the first time a Cuban leader has spoken at this legislative body.

Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of Cuba’s Communist Party and Cuban President described as excellent bilateral relations between Moscow and Havana, during a visit to Russia Today TV channel.

Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla sent condolences today to the people and government of Indonesia for the loss of lives and damage caused by a 5.6-magnitude earthquake that shook the province of West Java Monday, with a preliminary toll of 162 dead and hundreds of wounded.

The Chinese foreign ministry said today that the upcoming visit of Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel, scheduled for November 24-26, will give a new push to the development of bilateral ties and will give renewed vigour to the traditional friendship and fraternal cooperation between the two nations.
