Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban communist party and president of the country, attends the opening of the 38th Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2022), which will be held at the Expocuba fairgrounds until Friday.

After two years of pandemic, the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2022), one of the main commercial exchanges in Latin America and the Caribbean, will reopen today at Expocuba, with more than 60 countries confirmed to participate.

The Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets announced the 24th International Fair of Crafts and Gifts FIART 2022, to be held on December 10 to 20.

Cuba will show its results in genetic improvement and the use of biotechnology, as well as in the conservation, development and application of phytogenetic and zoogenetic resources at the 6th International Congress on Animal Improvement, to be held on November 15 to 18 in this city.

 The AZCUBA Sugar Group announced in this city that the sugar mill 14 de Julio of the central province of Cienfuegos will mark the beginning on November 30 of the Cuban 2022-2023 sugar harvest, considering that this province earned the best evaluation last year and boasts three of the best six mills of the country despite the lack of material and financial resources, parts and supplies due to the U.S. blockade.
