HAVANA, Cuba, Nov 14 (ACN) The Cuba Única tourism campaign is the main feature of the Caribbean nation's presence at the Belgium Travel Expo (BTExpo), held in the Belgian city of Nivelles.
This campaign is presented at the Cuba stand, with an approach to the country focusing on its inhabitants for their warm welcome.
According to Diana Rosa Gonzalez, Tourism Counselor for Belgium and France, expectations are high regarding the opportunity offered by the fair to exchange criteria with the professionals attending the event, with a view to increasing the number of Belgian tourists visiting the Caribbean nation.
Belgium is currently ranked among the top 20 issuers of travelers, in 19th place, but we believe it is a market with potential, which we have seen in previous events and in the first conversations at BTExpo, she said.
The tourism counselor highlighted the love for Cuba shown by the Belgian public in different spaces and the importance of forums like BTExpo to turn it into a greater presence on the island for the enjoyment of its kindness and the hospitality of its people.
According to the source, this edition of BTExpo will be the most crowded since the first one in 2004, based on the motivations for the recovery of a sector that has been hit hard in recent years by the COVID-19 pandemic.
