Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel rejected the new American sanctions against his country as part of its blockade policy, tightened by the Trump administration.

The Canadian airline OWG will fly to Cuba starting in November, with operations bridging Montreal and Toronto with Jardines del Rey, Cayo Santa Maria ( route Santa Clara) and Holguin, Cubana de Aviacion Corporation S.A. reported.

Maxwell P. Vah, Assistant Minister for American Affairs in the Liberian Foreign Ministry, said that his country will continue to be coherent and consistent with the permanent support given to Cuba in its fight to lift the US blockade, which he described as an inhuman action.

The government of Japan granted Cuba a donation of high-tech equipment for emergency services, the first international assistance signed under the mandate of the new Japanese Prime Minister, Yoshihide Suga.

An international virtual conference against the US blockade over Cuba will be held tomorrow at the headquarters of the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP), in Havana.
The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and can be followed on the Anymeeting digital platform with live and open transmission through Facebook and YouTube, says the note sent by ICAP.
