Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, said that Cuba does not need a humanitarian intervention, since the country defends peace and not violence.

Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, rejected the words of Joe Biden, President of the United States, related to the riots that took place this Sunday in Cuba.
During his intervention, as part of a televised appearance of the highest Cuban authorities from the Palace of the Revolution, Rodriguez Parrilla said that Biden asked them to listen to the Cuban people and alleviate their needs.

Numerous governments, organizations and political and social movements from different parts of the world have expressed their support to the Cuban Revolution and the government headed by the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, in the face of the destabilizing actions promoted by the United States this Sunday.

The province of Matanzas is today the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in Cuba, for that reason the Cuban government does not spare efforts to support the western territory, which has reported the highest levels of infections every day of the country, today with 2,378 new cases.

Social organizations such as the Movimiento Juvenil Martiano ( Youth Martiano Movement (MJM) and the Red de Intelectuales y Artistas en Defensa de la Humanidad ( Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity (REDH) reiterated today their support for the Cuban Revolution and their condemnation of the US government's meddling actions against the Cuban people.

Rogelio Polanco, member of the secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and head of its Ideological Department, warned today that the country is undergoing one of the chapters of the so-called non-conventional war, in which tactics of a supposedly non-violent struggle are being followed to generate chaos and instability.
