Since July 3, the country has been entering the second phase of the post-Covid-19 recovery, except for Havana, which begins the first phase, and Matanzas, which joined the rest of the provinces a few days later in the de-escalation process.
A total of 4,365 Cubans stranded by COVID-19 in 46 countries have returned to Cuba since March 22, according to Ernesto Soberon, director general of consular affairs and Cuban residents abroad at the foreign ministry.
