A new methodology embraced by the National Certification System for Scientific Journals includes a repository under development in cooperation with AmeliCA, a Mexican collaborative initiative intended to promote the development of Open Science based on a scientific communication model of a non-profit scholarly nature.

Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, attended Friday night the political-cultural gala on the eve of the Day of National Rebellion, held at the Teatro Principal in the city of Ciego de Ávila.

"Cuba will not surrender because its people will not betray their history, nor the legacy of their heroes and martyrs, nor the trust and hope that you place in them and their example," said Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, in Ciego de Ávila, alongside solidarity groups with the Caribbean nation.

In a post on X, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel congratulated the multimedia platform Telesur on its 20th anniversary and remarked that the network has given the peoples of Our America a voice and an image of their own to make their truths known.

The War Correspondents' Circle of the Union of Cuban Journalists (UPEC) paid tribute to three recently deceased colleagues who fulfilled internationalist missions in the People's Republic of Angola, where Cuba sent nearly 400,000 combatants and 50,000 civilians between 1975 and 1991.

The Cuban radio and TV program Mesa Redonda transmitted a special broadcast to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Telesur, the continental channel turned into a model of the battle for communications in Latin America.
