In the context of a visit to Russia by a Cuban delegation, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz highlighted today on Twitter the close historical and friendly ties that unite the two nations.

Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, at the head of a large high-level delegation visiting Russia, continues today in Moscow his work program, after participating in the city of Sochi, in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and in the 3rd Eurasian Congress.

A Vietnamese donation of 2 thousand tons of rice was donated by the government of the Vietnamese capital Hanoi to Havana in the presence of the two top Communist Party leaders of both capital cities, Dinh Tien Dung and Luis Antonio Torres.

Authorities of the Communist Parties of Cuba (PCC) and Vietnam ( VCP) in Havana and Hanoi, signed today in the Indochinese nation an agreement between the political organizations, valid for 2023-2028 period.

During a meeting between Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero and Russian VP Dmitry Chernyshenko, both countries ratified their will to strengthen economic, commercial and scientific-technical cooperation.

The U.S. community organization LELO (Legacy of Equality, Leadership, and Organization) awarded activist Carlos Lazo, coordinator of the Puentes de Amor solidarity movement—one of the most active organizations in the fight against the U.S. blockade of Cuba—for his humanitarian work.

 Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez congratulated Dennis Francis for having been elected President of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
