Havana, Nov 10 (ACN) An international court will hold hearings on the US blockade of Cuba in Brussels, Belgium, November 16 and 17, according to Cuba’s Friendship Institute.
Friendship Institute president Fernando Gonzalez said that members of the European and US societies, political parties, jurists associations, entrepreneurs and scientists called the hearing to denounce and reveal the impact of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba.
The call under the slogan “Unblock Cuba, Unblock US” the organizers invite organizations such as the International Democratic Jurists Association, the US Lawyers Association, the European Leftist Party and the Solidarity-with-Cuba Movement in Europe, as well as other organizations.
The main objective of the initiative is to denounce before public opinion the impact of the US economic siege on Cuba and on third parties, Gonzalez said.
The hearing can be followed on the webpage of the European parliament in different languages, and only in Spanish on the Cuban Friendship Institute youtube and facebook pages and on @siempreconcuba
