The National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament) summoned members of the Culture Commissions of the Caribbean Parliaments to the meeting The Role of Parliaments in the defense of popular cultures and traditions of our Caribbean nations, to be held in 2024.

With a call for urgent actions to avoid a world environmental catastrophe, the 14th International Convention on the Environment and Development closed doors in Havana in the presence of over 1500 guests from Cuba and another 24 countries.

The Cuban Association of United Nations (ACNU by its Spanish acronym) condemned today, in Havana, the possible exclusion of civil society organizations of the island in the forum for these purposes to be held at the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the European Union (EU).
