HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 21 (ACN) Deputies to the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) continue today the analysis of issues of interest to the population as part of the 1st Ordinary Session of the Cuban Parliament, in its 10th Legislature.
At the Havana Convention Center, the effectiveness of the measures adopted to control prices and the current situation and prospects of the country's energy system will be evaluated.
In addition, a review of the implementation of the Food Sovereignty and Food and Nutritional Security Law will be carried out.
On Thursday, and after two days of debates in its different commissions, the 1st Ordinary Period of Sessions of the 10th Legislature of the ANPP began.
During the day, the Military Penal Code Law and the Policy of Integral Attention to Children, Adolescents and Youths were approved.
The report on the results of the fulfillment of the general directives to confront crime, illegalities and social indiscipline was also analyzed.
Miguel Diaz-Canel, first secretary of the Party's Central Committee and President of the Republic, affirmed that the strength that characterizes this legislature is that the problems that concern the people, the people we are part of and that we are representing by their will, are being discussed openly and with great commitment.
The first ordinary session of the 10th Legislature of the ANPP will be held until July 22
