The necessary efficiency has not yet been reached, Cuban PM affirms

 HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 21(ACN) With the implementation of the general directives for the prevention and confrontation of crime, illegalities, corruption and social indiscipline, modest results can be seen but the effectiveness needed has not yet been achieved, said Manuel Marrero Cruz, Cuban Prime Minister, on Twitter.

The head of government pointed out on the social network that the rigor and effectiveness of confrontation actions by specialized bodies and agencies must be increased.

In addition, he advocated for greater articulation of administrations, political and mass organizations as a whole with the people, he wrote, accompanying his message with the hashtag #ConLaFuerzaDelPueblo.

On Thursday, the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) in its 1st ordinary session of the 10th Legislature analyzed the report on the results of the fulfillment of the general directives to confront crime, illegalities and social indisciplines.

From the Havana Convention Center, it was reported that the Council of Ministers approved in February this year a working system to eliminate these manifestations with the support of all the structures of the Central State Administration Agencies, national entities, territorial and local governments, with the support of political organizations.
