The Japanese government announced and aid shipment to Cuba through Japan’s International Cooperation Agency to help recovery actions after the ravaging passage of Hurricane Rafael on the western section of the island.

“As a traveler, I publicly complain that the U.S. refused to grant me an entry visa because I visited Cuba”, Roman Hereter said Saturday to the Congress of the Spanish Federation of Journalists and Tourism Writers (FEPET), held in this resort city and attended by more than 40 participants from different Spanish localities.

In a post on X, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla reiterated the condemnation of Israel's genocide against the Palestinians and the restrictions imposed on the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, where 43,665 people have been killed and 103,076 wounded, most of them women and children.

A meeting of the Executive Committee of the World Peace Council (WPC) held in Katmandu, Nepal and attended by Fernando González, president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), condemned the U.S. blockade of Cuba and the inclusion of the island in the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
