Havana April 21 (ACN) Cubans and Venezuelans marked the 215 anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of Venezuela by laying a wreath at the statue of Liberator Simon Bolivar in Havana.
The action was attended by Venezuelan diplomats in Cuba and by members of the Cuban Foreign Ministry and the Navy.
The Venezuelan people, who has been the victim of many agressions, keeps firm and 215 years after the independence declaration, we dare say that such a historic event has not yet finished because the struggle is still underway to preserve our sovereignty and independence, said Venezuelan ambassador to Cuba Orlando Maneiro, as cited by PL wire service.
