HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 14 (ACN) Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Cuban foreign minister, recalled the triumph of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in the face of the fascist coup d'état perpetrated in April 2002.
On X, the Cuban diplomat wrote: "23 years ago, the people of #Venezuela and Commander Hugo Chavez defeated the fascist coup d'état".
"We reiterate our support for the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution, its Civic-Military Unity and its President Nicolas Maduro, in the face of threats, sanctions and external pressures."
On April 11, 2002, a coup d'état took place against the constitutional government of Commander Chavez, so that on a day like today of that year, citizens and defenders of the Bolivarian Revolution took to the streets to demand the return of the President.
