Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), arrived in Havana from Caracas, where he made an official visit at the invitation of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV).

In a post on X, Cuba’s Political Bureau member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla expressed his firm opposition to the reactivation of sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, held an official meeting with Diosdado Cabello Rondon, Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), during a visit to Caracas that included tributes to Simon Bolivar and Hugo Chavez.

On the occasion of the 215th anniversary of the Grito de Dolores (Cry of Dolores), Cuba greets today the Government and people of Mexico on their Independence Day.

Army General Raul Castro, leader of the Cuban Revolution, and Miguel Diaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, expressed, in a letter to João Lourenço, President of Angola, their interest in strengthening ties between the two countries.

Political Bureau member Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of the National Assembly of People's Power and of the Council of State, held official talks on with his Angolan counterpart, Carolina Cerqueira, to whom he expressed his gratitude for her country's unwavering opposition to both the U.S. blockade and the inclusion of Cuba on the spurious list of alleged state sponsors of terrorism.

In a post on X, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla condemned Israel's bombing of civilian infrastructure in Yemen, which has caused dozens of casualties, including women and children, and stated that these repeated attacks continue to foster instability in the Middle East and violate international law.

Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, referred to the global rejection of Israel's genocide in Gaza, as evidenced by the New York Declaration, which he described as a new international call for the creation of two states to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Laos will continue to support Cuba on its path to development, in the fight against the US blockade said Laotian Foreign Minister Thongsavanh Phomvihane who also advocated for strengthening and expanding ties between both countries.
