The National Awards for Innovation and Recognition of Innovation for Local Development will be presented today at the closing day of the Innovation for Development Fair, which is being held at the Havana Convention Center.

 ARTEMISA, Cuba, Jan 17 (ACN) Miguel Diaz Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CCPCC) and president of the country, on Thursday praised the value of Artemisa's pig farmers, social advances and insisted on the defense of the Revolution as a priority.

The 1st Fair “Innovation for Development” opened its doors in this city in the presence of Cuban President Miguel Díaz Canel-Bermúdez, who toured the 50 stands displayed at the International Conference Center along with several top Party and Government leaders.

Come Sunday 19, the Cuban fiction show Gatos, Máscaras y Sombras (Cats, Masks and Shadows), written and directed by Elena Palacios, will be released on national television.
