Havana, May 15 (ACN) On the 77th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (Catastrophe)—a historic crime marking the Israeli occupation of Palestine—Cuba strongly condemned the continuous massacre of the Palestine people by Israel.
Nakba is not an event of the past, but a continuous process of colonization, apartheid and ethnic cleansing, which keeps destroying Palestine, said Cuban Friendship Institute vice-president Noemi Rabaza.
The same ones who blockade Cuba are the ones who provide weapons and protect Israel, the official denounced.
She recalled that in 1948, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were violently expelled from their lands. At present, millions of refugees and their descendants keep waiting to return to their land, a right denied by Israel and its imperialist allies.
