Alejandro Gil Fernandez, Cuban deputy prime minister, ratified before the United Nations (UN) his country's commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and stressed that this global strategy is closely in line with the objectives and goals of the island's National Development Plan.

We are convinced that solidarity cannot be blocked as food, medicines and equipment can be blocked; solidarity only serves the human needs and demands, and places its providers and recipients on the top of our human species.

Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Cuban deputy foreign minister, and Sergey Aléinik, Belarusian foreign minister, reviewed today the state of bilateral ties and expressed their willingness to continue boosting economic and trade links between the two countries.

Representatives of the WiN-Cuba, Cuban Women's Network in the Nuclear marked the 5th year of their institution by presenting scientific results in economic sectors of the country during a meeting at the Nuclear Energy and Advanced Technology Agency.
