The International Workers' Day parade is taking place at Havana’s Revolution Square, attended by Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution, and Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic.

Cuban and US citizens gathered at Havana’s Friendship Center on Wednesday to pay homage to US activist William (Bill) Camp, who tirelessly advocated the normalization of US-Cuba relations and free travel to Cuba for US citizens.

As part of his tour of the country's municipalities, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and president of the country, arrived today in Las Tunas to visit several sites in the southern territories of Jobabo and Colombia.
