Cuban vice president Salvador Valdés Mesa met today with Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé as part of a tour of several African countries that will last until November 22.

 A meeting with Cuban health workers deployed in Ghana marked the end of Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa’s official visit to that country as part of a tour of Africa that will include Guinea Bissau, Rwanda and Ethiopia.

The sessions of the 4th International Scientific Convention UCLV 2023, under way in this province, are focused on science and innovation for sustainable development through various events attended by Cuban and foreign delegates.

The 24th Conference of Ibero-American Water Directors (CODIA) will be opened tomorrow at the Hotel Nacional de Cubas with the presence of representatives from 18 countries of the region who will attend for the first time in Havana since the first one in Colombia in 2001.
