Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Cuba, in March last year, 5,047,554 samples have been processed for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes the disease, the Ministry of Public Health ( MINSAP by its Spanish acronym) reported today in Havana.

Cuba studied 30,449 samples for COVID 19, resulting in 2,589 positive ones. The country accumulates 5, 047,554 samples taken and 184,943 positive.

Cuba continues the anti-Covid-19 clinical trial for patients in pediatric ages with the vaccination on Monday of 25 children aged between three and 11 years, Cuban PM Manuel Marrero Cruz reported on Twitter.
