The 28th National Magic Festival “Ánfora” gathers 65 magicians from across Cuba, who will measure their skills in six of the eight modalities of the most ancient of arts.

Performing artists, music bands, raffles, and the exhibition of cultural and culinary arts from more than 50 countries will be the hallmark of an International Bazaar to be held Sunday in this city to foster solidarity and raise funds for vulnerable sectors and daycare centers in Havana.

Jean-Jacques Bastien, Belgian ambassador to Cuba, announced the beginning today and until November 15 of the 18th Belgian Week in Havana, a yearly event aimed at strengthening links between the two countries and marked by cultural events related to music and the art of comic strips.
