CAMAGÜEY, Cuba, Dec 7 (ACN) The 4th International Camagua Folk Dance Festival, scheduled to be held in this city on December 14 to 17, will be attended by 20 folkloric companies from the five continents.
According to Camagua director Fernando Medrano Vireya, the event will feature a number of socio-cultural projects and youth artistic companies will participate in the provincial dance meeting, organized by the International Council of Organizers of Folklore and Traditional Art Festivals (CIOFF) to promote the values of popular and traditional Cuban culture.
In addition to the 4th Festival, this edition will include the 1st International Festival of Dance Partners in Art Education and the 2nd National Festival of Company Dance Partners.
Likewise, the Santa Cecilia Convention Center will be the venue of the theoretical conference "Folkloric Representations in Times of the Internet", whereas Yoruba and Rumba lessons will be given at the Ignacio Agramonte Cultural Center.
