The Palace of the Revolution reopened its doors Monday to more than twenty intellectuals and artists who every month meet with Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez to follow up on the agreements of the IX Congress of UNEAC, held at the end of 2019.
The Antonio Núñez Jiménez Foundation of Nature and Man announced in Havana the postponement of the III International Congress on Urban Landscape, initially scheduled for May and intended to pay tribute to the work of Eusebio Leal Spengler (1942-2020) for his transcendental work as historian of Havana, due to the new coronavirus pandemic. It will be held instead on October 21-23, 2021 at the Havana International Conference Center.
Cuban musician Adalberto Alvarez, winner of the 2008 National Music Award, will celebrate the Day of the Cuban Son on May 8, and urged all soneros to join the festivity from their localities.
