HAVANA, Cuba, May 26 (ACN) The 31st version of the International Poetry Festival kicked off today until May 31 in Havana, an event that brings together poets, writers and literature lovers from different parts of the world every year.
According to the Ministry of Culture on its Facebook profile, since its foundation in the 1990s, the festival has been recognized as a space for creation and cultural exchange, where diversity and poetic richness find a place to flourish.
The program, the source assures, will include readings, lectures, workshops, book presentations and artistic activities, in scenarios ranging from public squares to cultural institutions, turning Havana into a stage for literary expression.
The publication praises the event for the participation of poets of different nationalities, who will share their vision on universal themes such as love, identity, memory and resistance.
