HAVANA, Cuba, June 17 (ACN) Lissette Solórzano, visual artist and director of the Fototeca de Cuba, announced that Havana will host a month-long international photography conference on November this year, namely the 19th Festival “Photographic November 2025”.
The event will be attended by Cuban and Brazilian photographers, as well as by special guests and four of the winners of the Regino Eladio Boti Provincial Contest of Visual Arts and Literature.
A key feature of the program will be a photo exhibition dedicated to the French photographer, ethnologist, anthropologist and researcher Pierre Verger, who documented the various cities he visited throughout his life, particularly in his trips to Cuba in the 1940s and 50s.
