The criminal protection in Cuba on issues related to cybersecurity and the confrontation of criminal behavior that can occur in the digital space, had scope in the 16th International Meeting of Criminal Sciences and 4th Event on Legality, Law and Society, held in Havana.

On Tuesday 25, as part of the celebration of the 122nd anniversary of the birth of Julio Antonio Mella, Cuba held in this city the Festival "Mella siempre anti-imperialista", an anti-fascist event intended to denounce the U.S. policies of economic aggression, smear campaigns and attempts to undermine Cuban sovereignty, in addition to its attacks against other countries.

Maria Victoria Villavicencio Plasencia, head of the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Higher Education (MES), said that the main goal of her division is to further promote the internationalization of Cuban universities and make the university community aware of the current trends of this process around the world, where education at this level is deemed key in the knowledge society and calls for a greater culture of internationalization for the benefit of sustainable development and inclusiveness.

Born in Havana on March 26, 1848, Manuel Antonio Sanguily Garrite, who made a name for himself as an intellectual and politician, reached the rank of Colonel of the Liberation Army during the Ten Years' War (1868-1878) against Spain.

On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the State Security Organs (OSE), Cuba paid tribute to the so-called "Silent Soldiers", who anonymously prevent actions against the Revolution.
