Havana, July 30 (ACN) The National Harbor Masters’ Office of Cuba confiscated a US flagged yacht, which was found last February in waters of the westernmost province of Pinar del Rio, according to the Cuban Tropas Guardafronteras Department (border patrol office).
The action was taken in accordance with Cuban Interior Ministry’s resolution 13/2025 of July 8th, related to the confiscation of boats found in Cuban waters.
The yacht named SKID MARKS, registered in Lankeland, Florida, has a white fiberglass hull; it is 14.10 meters long, 4.70 meters wide, and 1.78 meters deep, with no propulsion means. It was spotted on February 22, 2025 to the north of Cayo Jutia, Minas de Matahambre municipality.
According to the resolution anyone affected with the measure can submit claims in written to the Chief of the Guardafronteras Department in a 20-day term starting since the seizure was published in the local media.lc
