Havana, July 31 (ACN) Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero presided over a meeting of the National Team for the Prevention and Fight against Crime, which considered major indicators in that field during the first half of the year.
According to an X message posted by the Premier, he insisted in the need to strengthen internal control at all management levels and in the importance for a differentiated assessment of the local territories reporting major incidents, in order to enforce the most effective and specific actions.
The X message confirms that although there is a low trend in criminal acts, indicators keep being high and this suggests a more rigorous and coordinated response by the institutions involved.
Political and government authorities in Cuba have reiterated in different moments the Cuban State’s commitment to the protection of the citizens and the fight on illegalities in order to preserve security and social order.
