Four new official nominations endorsed the proposal to award the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize to Cuba's Henry Reeve International Contingent of Doctors Specialized in Disaster Situations and Serious Epidemics.

Cuba and Turkey will develop a cooperation project to combat COVID-19, which includes the protection of Cuban health personnel exposed to SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in Equatorial Guinea.
