Cuban Prime Minister calls visit to Congo a success
Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz described his recent official visit to Congo―the first stop of a tour of Africa that will also take him to Namibia and Equatorial Guinea―as successful and conducive to stronger bilateral relations.
During his stay, Marrero Cruz met with members of the Cuban medical brigade deployed in Congo and valued as noble their mission to save lives in different countries of the world while the enemies of the Revolution try to discredit the work of Cuban doctors, he said.
More than 500 Cuban health professionals have treated more than 631,000 patients since the island offered their cooperation to this African nation in 1965.

Marrero Cruz will travel to Namibia to attend both President-elect Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s inauguration on March 21 and the celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Cuban province boosts installation of solar parks for fuel savings
