Bruno Rodriguez, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, congratulated his New Zealand counterpart Nanaia Mahuta, recently appointed to the post, to whom he expressed his willingness to "continue expanding the ties of friendship and cooperation between our countries."

Vong Soth and Chea Vandeth, ministers of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, and Telecommunications and Post Office of Cambodia, respectively, recognized the valuable help of Cuba in areas such as health, education and training of human resources, among others.

Jorge Martí, Cuban ambassador to Poland, held a meeting with Tomasz Grodzki, Marshal of the Senate of that European nation, in which they discussed the good state of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Cuba's Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, Maria Esther Fiffe, condemned US hostility shown by the tightening of the blockade and the rise in coercive economic measures against the country.

During the last day of the extraordinary session of the Governing Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Cuban delegation, headed by Ana Maria Mari Machado, deputy president of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP by its Spanish acronym), congratulated Duarte Pacheco, the new president of the international body.

Cuban foreign minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla sent on Twitter his condolences to the Austrian people and government for the loss of life as a result of the terrorist actions perpetrated in the capital of that country on Monday night.

Cuban parliamentarian Ana Maria Mari Machado, deputy president of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP by its Spanish acronym), is leading the Cuban delegation to the extraordinary session of the 206th Governing Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), to be held virtually November 1-4.
