The Center for Environmental Studies of Cienfuegos (CEAC by its Spanish acronym) is managing the implementation of an Air Quality Station (ECA by its Spanish acronym) at the Provincial Meteorological Center, which will have national repercussions because it will cover the country's capital.

The Government of Türkiye donated Cuba 17 kits of compact photovoltaic solar modules―made up of power generators, solar panels and batteries―to benefit the power supply system in the provinces of Guantanamo and Artemisa.
