HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 30 (ACN) In a post on X, Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla reported his participation in the Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), held in Venezuela.
A follow-up of the XII Extraordinary Summit of ALBA-TCP Heads of State, which took place held at the beginning of this year, the meeting gathers foreign ministers and representatives of the Member States to discuss current threats to regional peace, the security of migrants, and imperialist aggressions against the peoples of Latin America, according to Mr. Parrilla.
The Political Council, made up of the foreign ministers of each member country, advises the Presidential Council on strategic political issues and submits proposals on international policy issues for discussion at that level.
