SANTA CLARA, Cuba, Mar 28 (ACN) Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the country, began his working visit to the province today with the opening of the Rojas photovoltaic solar park, located in the municipality of Remedios, municipality of the territory.
The station synchronized to the National Electric System on March 16, 2025 with an installed power of 21.87 megawatts and more than 42 thousand solar panels.
Diaz-Canel will also tour centers of socio-economic interest in the nearby municipality of Encrucijada, including developing communities, independent producers with positive results in the intensive generation of food and local industries of construction materials.
