Havana, July 12 (ACN) Cuba’s Culture Minister Alpidio Alonso wound up a working visit to China after participating at a Conference on the Dialog of Civilizations, in the capital Beijing.
Speaking to representatives of 140 nations, Alonso explained about the Cuban experience in the development of culture, based on the universal and free access to culture as priority of the Cuban Revolution’s policy, PL wire service reported from Beijing.
During a meeting with China’s Culture and Tourism Minister Sun Yeli, the two officials agreed to further strengthen cultural exchanges between their countries. “We will renew our bilateral cultural cooperation accord soon in order to boost cultural exchange in all areas,” he said.
The Cuban Minister welcomed the local willingness to spread Cuban culture in the Asian nation and said that good times are approaching for cultural relations between China and Cuba.
