HAVANA, Cuba, Apr 1 (ACN) The 3rd International Transport and Logistics Fair (FITL 2025) will be opened today at the Pabexpo venue in Havana, where until Thursday businessmen and potential partners, both Cuban and foreign, will strengthen existing projects or those under negotiation.
According to Eduardo Rodriguez Davila, head of the sector, the main objective of the event is to boost the sustainable and resilient development of the industry, in terms of better service to the people and a competitive performance of the economy.
The event also aims to foster development and alliances among the different economic actors, promote foreign direct investment and boost international cooperation.
The program includes conferences and panels, which on this first day will be dedicated to the priorities of foreign investment in the Mariel Special Development Zone, the development of airport infrastructure and aviation activity, and investments and project portfolios in Cuban civil aviation.
Other topics to be discussed today at FITL 2025 are the modernization and expansion of Terminal No. 3 of Jose Marti International Airport, with experiences of participation of national companies, and the management of air catering activity in that enclave, with a project for the construction of a new plant.
