Once again, the international community demanded today the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade maintained by the United States against Cuba, at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which is in session in New York.

The People's Republic of China, through its representative at the United Nations headquarters, expressed its opposition to the blockade policy designed to undermine the right to subsistence and development of the Cuban people, which is why it should end as soon as possible.
