Havana, Nov 23 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel told reporters in turkiye that official talks with President Erdogan were fruitful and encouraging as they ratified their countries’ willingness to keep strengthening bilateral political relations.
The Cuban president considered his visit as of great satisfaction in the context of the 70the anniversary of the establishment of full diplomatic relations between the two countries, which have unfolded on the basis of respect, solidarity and cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
Diaz-Canel described as positive fact the resumption of bilateral visits by government, parliament and businesspeople in a post-pandemic stage.
The Cuban president said that he conveyed to Turkish President Erdogan Cuba’s willingness to keep working in areas of common interest, such as biotechnology, renewable energy, tourism, agriculture, healthcare, sports and culture.
